Challenges

Whew...this has been a rough week. On Wednesday, we were packed and had the car half loaded when we received a blow of an email from the agent in our home city who was supposed to be organizing Calla's passport, visa process. To make a frustrating story less angry, he basically dropped the ball & has done nothing since her birth. Therefore, we are starting from scratch, 2 weeks behind schedule. Please pray it doesn't put us behind our expected travel back to US. It is going to cost a lot more to get plane tickets now, and the process is so frustrating. We will be very glad when this is all over, and may never want to have another child overseas.

On a bright note, Calla is such a sweetie! Through many, many tears, this process, & Alexis being sick (mastitis) this week, Calla has been an uplifter. She is such a joy, and a really good baby.

She usually has a couple nights where she sleeps pretty well, just waking up for feedings. Then, a night where she wants to stay awake the whole time. She is healthy & happy, and we are so thankful for her!

Tomorrow (Monday AM for us, Sunday PM for you), we head to the US Embassy to hopefully get her process started. Pray it goes smoothly, they accept all of our documents (we hear they're really picky), and it is expedited.
